Unrivaled is about to wrap up its second season as an established league. The 2025 season was their first, and they played all of their games at Sephora Arena in Miami, Florida. Earlier in the 2026 season, Unrivaled played its first game outside of Miami, at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Taking over the same arena as the 76ers on the basketball front and the Flyers on the hockey front, Unrivaled had a lot to live up to. However, they surpassed all expectations. Fans traveled from all over to pack the stands with 21, 490 people filling the seats of the arena. This sold-out crowd broke two records: the largest crowd of a regular-season game in women’s basketball history and the largest crowd for any event at Xfinity Mobile Arena.
Several players participating in the two games that night are from Philadelphia, including Phantom BC wing Natasha Cloud. After the game, she was very emotional when talking to the fans, seeing the sellout crowd, and being in the presence of her family. It was a whirlwind moment for Cloud and the entire group of Unrivaled players who got to compete in Philadelphia.
Now, they get to do it again. Following the success of their first game outside of their home arena, they’ll be taking Unrivaled on the road once more. They’ll stay on the East Coast, just going a little more north this time.
Unrivaled is taking one of their sets of playoff games to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. After the major success their regular-season games had in Philadelphia, bringing a playoff game on the road made sense, but taking it to Brooklyn made even more sense.
One of the league’s cofounders, Breanna Stewart, is a major pillar of the New York Liberty team. Their home arena is Barclays Center, and Stewart currently plays for the Mist in Unrivaled, a team headed to the playoffs. Since Stewart will be heading to Barclays to participate in the playoff games, she will help draw a crowd of Liberty fans, especially since they will be playing in the arena where the Liberty play.
Stewart is not the only Liberty player making a return to the Barclays Center court. Cloud played for the Liberty last season and will return to the road with Unrivaled’s Phantom BC. Cloud became a fast fan favorite in her first season with New York, so certainly she will bring more Liberty fans as well.
Just like in Philadelphia, fans in attendance will get treated to two games, one at 7:30 PM and one at 8:45 PM. This will be the last two games of the playoffs before the championship game on Wednesday, March 4th.
