It was a crazy first week for the Titans in free agency. They signed over a dozen free agents, new and returning, and they don’t seem to be done yet. That wasn’t even the biggest news of the week, however, as the Titans rebranded their uniforms and changed their logo for the first time since they basically moved to Nashville.
The uniforms the Titans will wear will be among the best in the league next season. They kept the red, white and blue colors but chose powder blue instead. They channeled their inner Houston Oilers with these jerseys, and they could not look any better.
From the helmet to the jersey to the pants, everything about these uniforms is great, and I think Titans fans are going to love it. However, it was the logo that had many people and fans disappointed.
This new logo is a similar remake of their old logo with the shield and the 'T' in the middle, but with this logo, it loses the flames in the background and just becomes more of a shield-type look. It just seems like a major downgrade from what they had, and it seems like they could have gotten much more creative with the logo, or just changed up the colors of the old logo.
It just seems like a downgrade from what they could have created. Overall, I could give the jerseys an 'A' and the logo a 'C'. The Titans could have another free agent suiting up in these new uniforms, as the Titans have been linked to free agent wide receiver Jauan Jennings.
Jennings had another solid year in 2025, although his receiving numbers went down, he still put up 655 yards and a career high of nine touchdowns. With the Titans still having 79 million in cap space, which is crazy to think about, they already have themselves a stacked wide receiver room with Wandale Robinson, Calvin Ridley, Elic Ayomanor and you could include Chimere Dike in there as well. Adding a red zone threat like Jennings would give Cam Ward so many options moving forward.
I think this would really solidify the Titans' offense as an above-average offense going forward this season. They will be competing in a juggernaut of a division with the Jags, Texans and Colts. They have a defensive-minded coach at the helm in Robert Salah, who is looking to reinvent this defense. The Titans may shock a lot of people this year. I can’t say they will be a playoff team, but I can say with confidence that this team is going to be much improved and will play spoiler throughout the year against several teams.
The Titans aren’t done yet, and if they set themselves up correctly, this team could make a playoff run in the next year or two.
