3 Free Agent Targets the Tennessee Titans Fans Should Keep Their Eyes On

The Titans improved immensely to end the 25-26 season, but with the most cap space in the NFL this offseason, and the possibility of a few contract buyouts, the possibilities are endless for the Titans. The whole key is improvement for the Titans, and these three players have the chance to improve the Titans and get them back to a playoff spot.

Wandale Robinson

Robinson was an excellent piece for the New York Giants and has seen an increase in snaps every year of his career. Last season, Robinson eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark for the first time in his career.

Robinson saw a career high in snaps, receiving yards, and touchdowns. Entering the prime of his career at just 25 years old, Robinson would be an excellent addition for Cam Ward and this Titans offense.

The Titans have solid receivers, but none that stand out the way Robinson would. Not only would he be a solid slot receiver, but he would also be a good deep ball threat for Cam Ward as well. Robinson would be a good WR2, and maybe a WR1. He’s looking at a contract around 15mil per year, and I think 3yr, 45Mil and 15mil AAV would more than please Titans fans with this deal.

Jamal Dean

Dean has spent the first seven years of his career in Tampa Bay, but now, as a free agent, he may be looking at a contender or a long-term deal on a team that can possibly contend in the future.

The Titans would be a solid fit for the former Super Bowl champ, as their depth on the defensive end is running thin. Dean recorded career highs in interceptions, QB hits and forced fumbles. This season also saw Dean with one of the best passer ratings of his career, with 63.1.

He was targeted more last year than in most of his career, and he kept opponents' completion percentage under 50% with a rating of 49.2. Dean should be looking at a contract of around 10-12mil per year with a team, and 4yr, 44mil and 11 AAV would be a solid offer to a corner that could finish out the prime of his career in Tennessee.

Wyatt Teller

Teller is coming off his 7th straight season with the Browns, but is looking to get a nice contract or join a contender. Teller would make an immediate impact on a below-average Titans o-line, as the 3x Pro Bowler would kickstart the guard position next to Peter Skoronski.

Teller was held to 13 games due to injuries, but still set career low stats in holding calls against (1), total penalties (3) and tied a career low in false starts (1). It shows why Teller has been a solid piece to the Browns the last few years, and I find it more impressive that he put up these stats while playing in front of three different quarterbacks.

Titans fans have been desperate to see a solid offensive line for the past couple of years. With the current players they have, this could be the best offensive line the Titans put out since the 21-22 season. Teller is projected to be around 12-15 million per year. A 3yr, 42mil contract would do wonders for the Titans at 14 AAV.

It goes without saying that a solid offseason in free agency could really help the Titans, the same way it helped a team like the Patriots, going 4-13, and then back into a contender. I don’t think the same will happen with Tennessee right away, but with the coaches they have in place and a few good players in free agency, they can easily be a competitive team.
