The Titans and GM Mike Borgonzi made plenty of moves on the first day of free agency as the Titans are building up their team. Their signings are as follows:

WR Wandale Robinson

DL John Franklin-Myers

CB Alontae Taylor

CB Cordale Flott

TE David Bellinger

C Austin Schlottmann

QB Mitch Trubisky

CB Joshua Williams

P Tommy Townsend

DT Jordan Elliot

This also consists of returning players such as:

G Garrett Dellinger

DL C.J. Ravenell

LS Morgan Cox

For the first day of free agency, the Titans have to be more than impressed with what this management team and coaching staff have accomplished. They have already started filling the important positions where they struggled last season, and will still have the chance to sign other free agents, pending any player cuts.

With the NFL draft approaching, the Titans will have more opportunities to bolster both their defense and offense. Whether they build through their defense with players like Arvell Reese or Rueben Bain Jr, or through their offense with a player like Carnell Tate.

Regardless, the Titans have put themselves in an excellent position to improve this offseason. Starting with guys like Robinson and Franklin-Myers, who will be an integral part of this team’s free agent class.

Robinson will most likely be the Titans' WR1 if Calvin Ridley is cut, and for what they paid, I think the Titans will get their money's worth. In a recent article, we had projected Robinson on a four-year deal, but only for 50 million. With the increase in salary cap, and lack of receiving talent in this year’s class, the Titans did well to get Robinson at 78 million.

Franklin-Myers will be a pivotal part of the Titans' defensive line as well. Pairing him with Jeffrey Simmons and whoever the Titans are able to obtain in the draft is going to put the Titans in a great spot in their pass rush game.

Not to mention the other acquisitions to their secondary of Taylor, Flott and Williams as well. This Titans defense could be looking scary going into 2026, not including the progress and improvement their offense will make as well.

If you're a Titans fan, this offseason has gone extremely well so far, and you have to be happy with what this management team has done. They have addressed the necessary issues from this past season, have hired a great coaching staff and signed players with tons of potential to get this team back to a playoff contender.

Time will tell if these moves really do end up paying off for the Titans, but for now, the Titans are looking to play spoiler as the new season rolls around.
